Answers: My mom and my sister are having a candleparty at our house this weekend and don't know what to serve to our guest? They are having like 8 people and would really appreciate any ideas that u post here, thanx!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. happy Valentines Day to everybody out there ?
You could serve cold and room temperature appetizers and other finger food. Maybe a hot dip with some chips. And drinks. No one would expect a full meal, and something light would be totally appropriate. If they want, they can also serve a dessert or sweet of some kind.
Most parties I have attended lately have served trays of fresh fruit and veggies with dip, crackers and cheese and a few cookies. I love the veggies myself with homemade ranch dressing using Hidden Valley dry mix. Ummmm good.
finger sandwiches, veggies and dip. crackers with a small meat and cheese platter.
my sister had a candle pary a month ago and she wanted something different, so we made little turkey and cheese and ham and cheese with flatout bread, into small pinwheel appatizers. and small fruit-cabobs. just a large tooth pick with a slice of honeydew, a grape, a cherry, peice of cantalope, any kind u want.
she said the pinwheels were a hit!!!
platter with dip chips, dried apricots, peanuts and raisins, cut up carrot or other veggies or asparagus rolls they seem to be really popular at most parties.
