Cute food ideas for a princess tea party?!

Question: I'll be serving magic wands (chocolate dipped pretzels), Cinderella's mouse friends (meringue mice) and some sort of tea sandwich. Any ideas for cute foods? This is a lunch party for a four year old. The food cannot be too messy since the girls will all be in their best dress up clothes. I need ideas for some sort of birthday cake, too. Any ideas are appreciated! Thanks!

I like the ideas they have on www.familyfun.com

cucumber sandwiches.....make a crown birthday cake....sparkling apple cider to go with the cake....good luck on them not making a mess.... just have a lot of paper towels and baby wipes and let them go at it. Cute idea. You are a great parent!!!

i'd do the barbie dress cake. get a barbie dressed like a princess.

you can have cookies cut out in star shapes. use bright colors and sprinkles to make them sparkle.

small tea sandwiches cut in star shapes too

here are some recipes. you might need to scale down portions depending on how many you plan to feed.

Make cupcakes and ice them with pink icing and whatever else. Then serve them in cute little teacups with a little spoon. The fun of cupcakes with less of a mess, I'd say.

Instead of a cake, you could stack some mini/regular cupcakes!
Ice them in bright colours! ]

google it
