Hi Mary,
Hot dog and marshmallow cook-out on the fire, using twigs.
You can have them wear some fluo collars for fun.
Put on some music and let them go silly.
Hide and seek in the dark or telling scary stories.
It depends how much lee-way you want to give. As long as you make the ground rules *very clear* from the get go and ensure there is adult supervision at all time, they'll be happy to spend a night out. Have fun!

well u can have a hotdog and marshmellow roast and then after that play a simple game like flashlight tag have sum flashlights and the ppl who get tagged with the light just go over to a little spot and stand there with their flashlight of until sum1 from their team comes over their and turns bak on their flashlight so its kinda like tag just with flashlights

How about a cool like 'cowboy' them party w/ the fire outside---serve the doggies, baked beans, chili, etc...& roast those marshamllows---or even make S'mores---the graham crax, toasted 'mallows & a Hershey bar, which will melt.....AND, maybe in your area, before eve, you can have a cowboy appear or even a biz who brings a pony for all to ride & enjoy.

Camp out, if you are having a small fire do hotdogs on a stick, smores. Play games like hide and go seek, capture the flag.

you can have falash light tag. its actually really funn! and you can roast stuff of course and if its not too cold they can spend the night outside in a tent or sleeping bags. football would be a fun game with spot light if you have them if not you can rent them at home depot or lowes or a palce like that.
