Decided to throw a divorce party for my mom....?!
Answers: ok so give me some ideas on games, decorations. i've never heard of a divorce party before so help me get it going!

When I went to one they played the video of the wedding in reverse so they were running away from each other.
Hope she's not divorcing your Dad or the poor guy may feel left out.
I think it's very nice you want to throw a party for your mom on the divorce, however, try to have a little more consideration for her. It's one thing if she's the one throwing the party it's another if someone else is doing it. May be what you should do is have an intimate dinner with a few close people at the house/apt -- whereever -- remember 1 thing the emotions people show outside isn't exactly what they are feeling inside -- no matter what they say.
I think just as long as she know's people are there for her through this is enough.
