Ideas for a 14 year old birthday party?!

Question: Okay, this is what i want: 50 people, outside, no corny games or kissing games, coed, day into night time with cool lamps and things, music of course, and pizza or subs with lots of snacks. I need ideas on what to do for four or five hours. no movie watching because 50 people dont fit in my basement, and another girl did a outside movie theater once. i really just want it to be perfect. stupid and unhelping answers will get reported. thanks for the help!!

Ever thought about maybe putting a temporary dance floor in your backyard and getting a stereo system and burning mix cd's. Sort of like a dance club theme. With maybe like a strobe light or a fog machine for after dark and a snack table and stuff. Because, dancing is something everybody likes to do.

how are you going to report someone for not helping. dont you have to be older than 14 to post. and why the hell would you have a 50 person party. if you can afford to have that many people why dont you pay some one to think it up for you

Euro Disney

well when i was 14 my mom would like make my b-day party like a field day
u know with like races and egg tosses and water ballon fights and stuff like that. ask what he/she wants and build around that.

How about you ask your friends...

YOU SHOULD GO TO ROLLER GARDENS IF YOU LIVE IN MINNESOTA BUT ALSO YOU CAN THROW A BIG *** PARTY IF U FEEL LIKE CLEANIN UP I DID THAT WITH ALL MY HOMIES OR YOU CAN GO TO GRAND RIOS

um idk
im only 13

you could get some entertainment...like music or something.

Perhaps you could make it a themed party?
If it is a mixture of boys/girls then go for a popular theme, maybe get people to dress up or something?

well you listed every thing you wanted.

but get a dj and have a dance party. like a masquarade party would be cool. you dont need to have it inside. decorate the outside with lights. like the ones people put around the outside of the house for xmas. just put tons of those it will look good.

Maybe you could do the outdoor theater thinig, or maybe get some guitar hero/dance dance revo or something going on outside? Those are always good party games. Outdoor parties are hard to keep up for 5 hours...an outdoor movie theater is probably a great idea if you can pull it off. You could have music vids going in the background of the party, and then could start up a movie later on?

Wow. A fourteen year old had an outdoor movie theater? Good Lord! I'm eighteen and I've only ever had one birthday party. It was in first grade and we played pin the tail on the donkey and we found pieces of candy hidden around the house (which I didn't get to participate in since I knew where most were hidden). And that's about it. No sweet sixteen. No cool eighteenth birthday party. No graduation party.

It's really lucky that you're even having a birthday party so don't worry about it. If you go too big it's gonna come off like you're trying to hard, which really, isn't all that impressive. So just keep it simple.

well when i was 14, i just wanted my mom to let me hand out with my friends, if alot of her friends are coming you can be sure to give them food, music, and maybe a dance floor.. but dont be overprotective and watch her constantly.. she might hate you for it later.. but dont do any silly theme like barbies or baby sutff..14 year old are ready to grow up at this time.. they just want to hang w/ there friends and grow up..nothing complicated, just let them have fun :)_

if your near the beach have it at the beach

50 people is a very large group and what the heck kind of party lasts for 4 or 5 hours??? Everyone would be tired of it by then. The first thing to do with look at your budget and work from there. How many people will your budget feed and how much of your budget can be spent on entertainment and extras like decorations. I think you have this party planning a little backward.

A unique game idea may be to get large foam rectangles from a craft store [like for a seat cushion, or the styrofoam rectangles from the floral department] and do an almost life size version of the game Jenga or another game[s]. That will take some time to play, and it will definitely be something no one else near you has done. We did the huge board game Ideas for a youth group weekend, and it was a lot of fun. We did Jenga, checkers, and dominoes. You may even consider hosting a dance competition. Have a gift certificate as the prize. The only limit is your imagination. Even getting a number of remote control cars, and hosting a race [ or even a night of competion ] on a marked track would be a blast for a group of friends. I know the guys would like it [sorry, I have 3 teen boys and they love this one!]

a pizza party
a club
ice-cream party

(make sure you have games and have prizes so that the ppl can enjoy it) =]

the dark game

My son is 14, and for his next birthday, he just wants to atke a few friends to a big city a couple of hours away. We'll spend the day looking at guitars, go to the mall, hang out, maybe hit the zoo if they are feeling crazy, and eat a good meal out. The trip and the experience are more fun for him than having a huge group over. We did a 30-person 12th birthday party for him and it was a nightmare. Impossible to structure, we tried to do some games but there were just too many people. If you want THAT many people, you need to take the party elsewhere, besides your house, such as a golf course or banquet hall with a dancefloor. Otherwise, invite a few friends, convince your mom it's easier this way, and take a day trip someplace.
