What are some good & uniqure birthday party ideas for females aged 22-23? (nothing "adult content!")!

any other ideas though?
nothing crazy expensive.
The party is partially Sex in the City theme (for the movie coming out) and things will be pretty girly
but everything doesn't have to fit the theme
the guest with mainly be female, maybe all female, BUT there may be a guy or two there, depending on schedules

What about a Paris party? I dont watch Sex and the City excpet for what I see my roomate watch but I do recall Carrie wanting to go to Paris with one of her boyfriends. So there is sort of a relation.
Anyways...find pictures or posters of france and put them around the room. Use soft pastel colors like pink, yellow, blue, and green. You can serve coffee and tea and make small little finger foods like mini cupcakes with matching icing (food die and vanilla icing) You could also get macaroons or something and put them all on silver platewear on a table. I hope this helps a little bit.

Ask around to see if there is a good fortune teller in the area. The girls in my area had a phenomenal night laughing and comparing notes after our private session with a tarrot card reader who was right on with her readings. We hired her for the evening and she came to our house and while we were having drinks and appetizers ,we each took our turn in private and then came out to share what we wanted with everyone. We had a blast! Because there were around eight of us it only cost us around $15 each. It was a lot of fun.

Have name tags and have everyone add their favorite character's name to the front of their own: Carrie Sue, Miranda Beth, etc.
I've seen some of the episodes, and I know they went to clubs and Carrie was really into fashion. Have colorful cocktails (if you don't want alcohol, have non-alcoholic ones that are bright and colorful). You should have shoes and purses as part of your theme--invitation shapes, chocolate shaped like them, favors, decoration, etc.
Having a couple of different movies to watch would be fun. Make sure they're girly fun ones like The Devil Wears Prada--it's chick flick that's all about fashion.
