Answers: the invitations, plates, cups, favors, balloons, etc.? Or do you not, and just use plain stuff? Do you get them from Wal-mart, K-mart, party supply store, Hallmark store, Internet, or ??? Thanks.
Okay, I am a party queen. I plan all of our family gatherings, holidays, etc. I buy alot of the paper goods from Wal Mart, they are the cheapest place (even a few cents cheaper than the dollar store). The first thing you need to do is pick a color scheme. Then if you want a specific print that does cost a bit more you can alternate the plates. For example, buy 50 plates, 30 of them solid colored and 20 in your print, you spend half the money on the themed stuff but you still get your idea across. I get the balloons from Dollar Tree or the dollar store in your area that has them. Invitations, I go to a party store and look in their clearance bin, if they don't have them I go to the dollar store. I have done several get togethers with themes (right now I am doing my daughter's 16th birthday party in the 80's theme) and I've even done two weddings. I love this stuff, so if you have a question, just ask!

Any of those places you listed sounded good. Wal*Mart is cheaper but a less selection. Party supply stores are great like iParty. Hallmark store is expensive and dosen't really have much, and it'll be alot for all that shipping if you order online, plus it's hard to always trust putting your credit card out there, and things always look different online.
Party supply and craft stores are loaded with supplies for all events from parties to weddings. You can also buy things online at websites like www.orientaltrading.com or www.shindigz.com. You may even find these supplies in a big dollar store!
Hallmark will be ridiculously expensive...there are party warehouses all over the place..
you can also get them at the supermarket, at walmart, zellers etc..etc... much cheaper than a card store... even some dollar stores will have them!!
I get mine on Ebay. They have great stuff at realistic prices although you do have to plan ahead to allow for shipping time.
