My daughter is celebrating her 1st bday. I need ideas on centerpieces that will tie up with a cupcake theme...!

Question: My friends and I did a cupcake themed party for one of our best friends. For the centerpiece I took 3 square vases of varying heights. I filled each one with a different brightly colored candy, I did runts in one, gumballs in another, and jawbreakers in the third. Then I stuck a pinwheel in the center of each one. You could change the candy types or have suckers sticking out of the tops of them. We also used large cupcake sprinkles as "confetti" on the tables and gave all the guests candy necklaces. If it would help, I can send you some pictures if you email me! Hope this helps!

You could make a three tiered cake out of cupcakes and use it as the centerpiece- get one of those three tiered plates with a pole in the middle and put the cupcakes on it. That would be cute-
another idea is strawberry shortcake?

serve the cupcakes in little cups for the kids... like cup cakes, get it?

layer cupcakes to look like a wedding cake, then string ribbons down from the top.you can use sparklers instead of candles.use confettie sprinkles all over it.

Have a cake made out of crack rocks and heroin... thats what Amy Winehouse would do. Do a disney character thing...i dunno

you can get editabale centerpieces cookies, fruit check around maybe get one with cookies that are shaped like cupcakes

strawberry shortcake! (the character)

I was thinking of a doll with a bright colored dress, then give your daughter the doll at the end of the party.Wait let me explain, one of those dolls that doesnt have legs, she sits on a base thats under her dress.

For my little sisters first birthday she had a cupcake cake that was Carebears and it was pink, purple, and blue. She's three now.

Its a first b day party. They are meant to be just for the mom and dad and not a big deal. You are going way over board. Just stick ahat on her and call it good. She will only see the one picture of her eatting a peice of cake. Nothing else will matter.

For my Grandson, I did cupcakes made in ice cream cones.I made the cupcake tree out of plates in different colors (Start with one color plate, put large clear plastic colored tea glass filled with beads, cars, crayons on the center of plate, then continue with a different color plate, different color filled glass , finishing with plate)
