My school did a Dance and Dessert show or Java and Jazz. Both were quiet popular. The java and jazz also served some cookies and then played live music (recorded would be fine). Dance and Dessert has live dance performances but you could just set up a stage and let people dance or get some classic dance movies (Fred Astaire type movies).

mabye a Bingo night or trivia night. mabye like magazine sells or chicken dinner. like at my school we sell roses round valentines day. im not sure what you could do now. mabye sell shirts.

If it is a school event Battle of the Bands always went over well for me, also, a karaoke night is good aswell

How about a game show night. have the players play for money to go towards your fundraising. Have your teachers play against each other in Double Dare stunts where they get messy. Have a bunch of jars at the enterance with picture of the teachers and principle on each one. Tell everyone to put their money in the jar of the person they want to see get a pie in the face the person with the most money has to get a pie in the face or kiss a pig. Students will always pay to see a teacher get a pie in the face.

have a cake walk

do a bowling night or a battle of the bandss

Sell first aid kits (look it up online). Stuffed baked potato sale (to go) so people just call their orders in and you get them ready and they pick them up. You can presale a lot of dinners if you do dinners like this. Alot of people would rather buy a homemade diner for a good cause than go to the store. If they are all ready to go when they come by then its not such a big deal and you knwo just how much you will be selling... keeps your costs lower.
