Theme parties, Any ideas? Toga Party is old school, but tell me some others?!
Anyone have any ideas, or anyone know any problems with certain themes?

I went to a great party with a wife beater theme. They handed out "wife beaters" to all the men and women there. (a wife beater is a sleeveless white shirt you see guys on cops getting arrested in for beating their wife.) Good luck.
Bad Movie party. Screen VERY bad movies, like "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" Everyone comes in pajamas. Have contests for best couple, most juvenile, etc. Serve movie foods - hotdogs, popcorn, etc.
A couple years ago mty boyfriend and I threw a pirate party. Everyone had to dress up in pirate attire, there was only rum to drink, ect. It was a big hit.
for my birthday i did a vinyl party...so that meant everyone had to bring me a record and that was the music for the night. I had bought decorations that were record themed- streamers with records hanging at the end, etc, and I found a "guess the musican" game where everyone had a stiker on their back (that you couldn't read) and everyone around you had to give you clues as to who you where, once you guessed it you took the record off, last person standing had to pour a round of drinks for eveyone.. I served old fashion 50's styled drinks and people were encouraged to dress as they favorite musician. It was a fun way to costume theme it up and to see what everyone's taste were.

My friends and I have thrown parties where we have dressed as our favorite superhero, cowboys and indians, prom, book characters and human resources verses hells angels. They were all fun.
