Weirdest cake I ever made was the Kitty Litter cake (looks like a dirty cat box) - but if you are looking for something new - how about a cake that looks like a "junk drawer" you know like in the kitchen the one you keep cords, wires and other stuff you have no idea what it's for but aren't sure if you should toss them or not.
