I'm looking to plan an absolutely AMAZING sweet 16 birthday party for my daughter. What are some good ideas?!

Question: We've always gone big for my kids birthdays. We've done clowns, magicians, ponies (all in separate years). What is something that would be really over the top to do for her 16th. We were thinking about going to a racetrack and letting her race, but I think we're too late to schedule that.

Thanks for your help.

I got a firebird for my 16th. My mom took me shopping all day and when we pulled into the drive I opened the garage door and there was my car with all my friends standing around it and my favorite song blaring from the car. It was awesome. Then we partied and my parents went to dinner. It was fun and one I'll never forget. The car was THE ONE that I had picked out too and didn't think I was getting.

I think your vegas idea sounds fun! There is so much to do there too. Good luck!

Oh you could let her drive a Nascar. I'm not a Nascar fan but I went to Daytona for a boat race and you could pay to sit in the passenger seat of a real race car and someone would drive you around the track. They also have it where you can go to a driving school and then drive one. I went around 160 mph in the car and did 3 laps around Daytona. It was awesome - I was in the M&M car. My whole family was there and we all had a blast! Here's the website for it... http://www.1800bepetty.com/home.aspx

let it be a dress up, costume, party. go up the mtn to the lil cottnwood, do an old time deal. with a modern twist.

p.s. how is the weather there it has been since olympics I was there. Florida is warmer

Mudbogging definetly!

Who doesnt love getting dirty

well my sweet 16 was sick. i rented out this club like place and made it look really sweet. and i got a really good dj and stuff.

depends on what she likes to do.
do you want it to be formal or casual?
how many people?
dancing?
indoor or outdoor?
theme?
maybe you could hire a local band to come?
locations- country club, club, hotel, your house?
just a few things to take into consideration.
my sweet 16 is coming up and i'm already baffled @_@
good luck :]

My daughter is 41, so I am sorry I have no fresh ideas for this generation. I will star this so more will see it. Maybe a trip to Disney?

What about getting a party bus drive around for awhile and take you into vegas. You can have a party in one of the ballrooms in the hotel. Like the trump or somewhere. And ride back home on the party bus.

You can book a night at one ofthe suites with bowling allies and stuff in them you would only need 1 room if you rented that out. and that night go out partying and stuff. and just ahve a good time.

Hope this helped. good luck! :)
