What should i do if he's really shy!?!?!
I catch him looking at me, but when i look up, he looks away. Also i was talking to his friend once and he was sitting right next to him, but he totally turned his head away from me. why wont he look at me, and how can i get to know him?
Answers: i like a guy. Hes in my math, sits all the way across the room. Its been a whole semester and I haven't said one word to him, so it would be akward to just go up to him and talk. since we sit far away, talking in class isnt an option either.

I am the exact same as this guy you are talking about. Yeah, you should definetly start talking to him he won't mind even if you haven't talked to him for a while. I would be glad if a girls did take initiative with me I am a really shy guy when around girls. He probably likes you and only turns his head away because he is shy. Just begin talking to him about anything until he eventually starts to open up.
After class just go up to him and say hi and start talking. Your never going to know what might be if you talk to him. Someone has to make the move.

i try to remind myself of this and repeat it, whenever im feeling nervous, or shy ,ect... it has helped me in life to go ahead and stand up, say something, whatever..instead of wishing i had later..hope it helps you too...
say hi and hopefully you will start talking if not, i dun no if u are in high school or so, but if you slip a note in his locker you can like meet somewhere and get to know eachother. i slipped a note in my crushes book and now we are kinda getting to know eachother!
If there is group work, try asking if he's already found someone to work with or if they would like to work with you. This is tricky if you sit far away. After class, linger around, see if you can get out of the door at the same time. Say, "hello" and ask how he is, or say something relating to the class, "that made no sense" or something like that. If you can spark even a tiny conversation, it's a start. Smile, be polite....
Some kids are really just very very shy. Sometimes it's insecureness and other times, they just can't initate conversation. It's possible that he has some trouble looking people in th eeys...it's really hard for some and soo easy for others. Jsut be nice and keep pursuing it, but don't overwhelm him!! Good luck.
