How do I serve beverages at a bridal shower for 20 people? I'd like to serve ice tea, lemonade, and water?!

Question: I do not have any pitchers, and would like to avoid a punch bowl. I was interested in a glass or plastic beverage dispenser, because they look so nice. But, they cost so much. Do you know of any under $20? or a creative alternative?

Rent them, or ask the bride's family if you can borrow some.

Creative - I can do creative. Take some empty wine bottles and soak the labels off of them. Wash them very very well. Fill them with the drinks and make your own labels using "My name is" style stickers - Or, fold a blank index card in half, write "Iced Tea" on it, and place it in front of the Iced Tea wine bottles. Do this for the water bottles and the lemonade bottles as well.

Use a separate ice bucket to hold the ice.

Visit a wine shop that does tastings to see if you can steal some of their empty bottles. Or, a nice bar/restaurant that will just throw them out or recycle them. Be sure to ask several weeks in advance so that you can build up stock.

Know that one bottle holds about 3-8oz pours of liquid. You'll probably need at least 4 of each on the table to begin with, and then refill an hour into the party.

i would say just get some clear plastic pitchers and make them in there.. then just get a tray with glasses and fill them up and pass them out. They will look nice and wont cost you an arm and a leg.

Buy some clear plastic pitchers and clear plastic cups- Arrange them on a pretty platter and serve. Another way is to rent glasses and pitchers from your local party store. You can usually get a couple of crates of glassware for under 20$, you can even return them unwashed as they ALWAYS wash them upon return-

You can get them at the dollar store - then stock up on colored plastic cups.

You can get glass pitchers at Target with glasses for under $20.

I personally like the punch bowls...it's more classier. You can set that away from the food in it's own area. If you're hosting this at home...you can put the punch bowls on a kitchen table.
With a pitcher you would have to continue to refill. You want to host but you also want to relax and enjoy yourself.
