What are some good ideas for a 17 year old girl's birthday party?!

Question: I'm 16, going on 17 on St. Patrick's Day. I had a big party last year at an event center with like 100 people and a DJ and all that. This year I want a low key hang out with friends type of party.

Details:
* I live in upstate NY so anything outside is out of the question
*Half my friends are guys and a few girls
*Low budget
*Small living room & annoying pets
*Extremely small town

I want just a small party with my closest friends to celebrate.. something special but not too extravagant.

Please let me know ASAP!

Here are a few suggestions:
1) go out to dinner at a local restaurant. That's always fun, just you and your friends.
2) Have a movie marathon of the kinds of movies you like, eat pizza and wear pjs (it's comfy and fun)
3) If you have a video camera, make a movie with your friends. My friends and I used to do that all the time it was so much time. Either that, or we would take the video camera and focus it on the tv while our favorite movies played on mute. Then, we were each given one of the characters, and we dubbed our voices over theirs with new, improvised lines. It was always fun to go back and watch those movies, and when we get together now its still fun to watch and see what stupid things we said.

hope that helps!

Go outside and play glow-stick tag in the snow! I don't know how I thought of that. Maybe you should do karaoke(always fun)?

get f*cked up.
