But I need some ideas for what to make! I don't have much in my pantry.... just a can of expired corn, some Spam, 2 jars of pickles, and ketchup .....

I am sorry but none of that food would be romantic..Go buy some more ingredients . Something like spaghetti or lasagna or even steaks and salad would be much more romantic than a can of spam!
hmm, I'm pretty good at cooking with odd ingredients, but I would start by throwing out the spam and then I would call for take-out. Any food will be romantic if you set the mood right. Add some music to your candlelight and enjoy!
