Why use do we use wooden bowl for mixing salad?!


Question: salad in metal bowls tend to wilt ie cut lettuce with a stainless steel knife and cut one by tearing it with your hands the steal ones will get colored in a hr or so on the ends it also keeps it looking nicer in a wood bowl

to avoid any chemical reaction that might happen between the dressing(normally acidic) with the bowl you're using. wood is neutral so no chemical reaction will arise but no guarantee if you used steel bowl.

Because we use lime juice and vinegar which causes chemical reaction if we dont mix in a wooden or plastis bowl and spoon

Wooden bowls looks good, they are round and wide which makes it easier to mix the salad.

As beautiful and elegant as they are useful, wooden bowls provide an earthen tone to any decor that only nature can offer.
