i no that im having a family and friends thing so it has to be fun for younger and older people to. please help.

* Have a pool party - town pools can help with the catering if you have it at their venue.
* A restaurant that has a gaming room for the kids
* Park with a BBQ

you could have a BBQ they are fun for everyone.... you could play football or something like that. Happy Birthday!!
It seems that you will have a lot of guests, so that rules out an event (like bowling or skydiving). You could go to a big park or something with enough room to cater for everyone (room to run around for kids, shade to stand under etc). Good luck with deciding!
Do outdoor activities with a small party so that everyone can enjoy your 18th birthday.
Or you can go outing on the beach with friends and family.
Do it casually, not too formal.
