my friend once threw AN ALICE IN WONDERLAND THEME PARTY!
it was awesome! You had to have a CRAZY HAT on to get in..ala mad hatter!
The made special brownies ...that said EAT ME
and we had oversized decorations...like a big carboard tree that had real lollipops sticking out of it
and jello shots for everyone!
to top it off her sister made a mad hatter cake....it was all sideways and colorful
it was fun and she was the hostest with the mostest !
Lots of beer, heavy metal/ rock music, costume party
Keep it simple, simple food, simple drink, and great music, and you will be successful!!
Definately agree with your last poster, you can't beat a fancy dress theme. And a nice big bowl of punch for your guests to add to as they arrive. White wine,strawberries,apples,oranges & kiwi or fruit puree, any of your choice plus vodka is a lush cheap mix. Had so many good parties based on these things.
