hi there,

I would probably play the hottest hits b/c then everyone knows the words and you can dance to it also!!
Or here is a list my friend had at her last pool party!!
1. Twisting by the Pool / Dire Straits
2. Hot in Herre / nelly
3. Summer in the city / the loving spoonful
4. Starry Eyed Surpise / oakenfold
5. Lovely Day/ Bill withers
6. California girls / beach boys
7. Hot Fun in the summertime / sly & the family
8. Margaritaville/ Jimmy buffett
9. Boys of summer / don Henley

Food:
Keep dining simple by putting out large platters of assorted finger foods you don’t need to restock. Start with snacks like tortilla chips and salsa, pita chips and hummus, and potato chips with onion dip.

Serve hot dogs, hamburgers, watermelon, etc. (try to stay with the easier stuff that you can prepare outside so that you don't miss any of the fun!)

Activities:
You can play marco polo or pool volleyball, pool basketball or water polo or add some floating rafts or beach balls to entertain the guests!!

How old are you? Then i can answer.

finger foods. and vegetables
Dance music!!

Serve water melon, chips and dip, and barbecue something easy like hot dogs or chicken shish kabobs with veggies. Some electronica music and Bob Marley should mix it up pretty good.

We do big parties all the time. The next one will be for Easter. We are doing a seafood boil. We also do a make your own shish-ke-bob that is loads of fun. Assembly the meats & veggies in separate containers for each person to make and grill their own in bite size pieces. We also do fresh fruit for dessert and grill it as well. Hard stone fruits work the best (plum, pear, peach, apples, pineapple). Have some dipping sauces for both or marinate the meat ahead. If you cut up the fruit, be sure to pour a little lemon juice over the fruit so it doesn't turn brown. Cooks really fast.

don't forget the tiki torches
