Any ideas for a princess party?!

Question: For a sweet sixteen. It's a sleepover. There are six girls coming and I need ideas. Don't tell me to search on Google for something because it comes up with little kid stuff. But it's Disney Princess themed, and I need decorating ideas, food ideas, movie ideas, game ideas, the whole nine yards. Any ideas?
And where to get cheap crowns?

A sweet sixteen princess party? Oh mama!

First : Break out the good stuff. These aren't little kids... They'll know the real deal from the fake stuff and its unlikely they'd break the good china. Splurge on a decadent table cloth, pre-set the table complete with fabric napkins tied with ribbon, wine goblets or champagne flutes, and nice dishes. A small, fresh flower arrangement and a few candles is a great touch! If you can get them, a few white sheets over the chairs, tied with matching ribbon, is extra fancy.

I suggest the dollar store for crowns. Make them super special by hot gluing some tulle to the ends. Or, try a store like Claire's, Icing, etc, for prom tiaras. Long white gloves would be amazing, too!!!

Food ideas : Nothing terribly messy, as its all your good stuff on the line - just arrange it and serve it plated in amazing ways. With lots and lots of courses! Serve ginger ale in champage flutes, tiny baby carrots in honey sauce, little puff pastries filled with meat & spices. Try to arrange each plate as though it came from a fancy restaurant.

As for movies, well... if its Disney themed... I guess that answers itself.

Games : I'm sure you've heard of princess & the pea. Make your own game by buying a feather stuffed pillow, cutting a tiny slit, and adding a single glass marble.Tape over the hole or sew it shut. See which girl can find it the fastest - the most delicate princess, of course!!!

If you've got time for ordering stuff, check out oriental trading and see what they've got for party stuff in princess themes.

Great goody bags could be small jewelry boxes filled with a tiny perfume sample.

Good luck!

Terrific Tiaras

Little princesses will love decorating their own party crowns. CRAFT MATERIALS:
Metallic silver poster board
Stickers and plastic gems (sold at most craft stores)
Double-sided tape
Large paper-clip

Time needed: Under 1 Hour
1. Cut out a basic tiara shape for each guest from metallic silver poster board. (Parents should do this in advance of the party.)

2. Trim the midsection to create a fancy edge.

3. Adorn the crowns with stickers and plastic gems attached with double-sided tape. (This is a fun party activity.)

4. To fit each crown, wrap it around the princess's head and paper-clip the overlapped ends.
