Male 30th party ideas & a theme??!

Question: I am throwing a 30th birthday party for my husband & have no clue what to do. The party will only consist of family, I'd say anywhere from 15-30 people. I wanted it to be at our house but it's small, I'm worried there won't be enough room, but we have a good sized back yard. Any other suggestions as to where?? It will also be during the day, no alcohol! One important thing, he is a manly-man...What kind of theme? Should there be a theme? Help!

Is there a rule in your town that says no alcohol can be imbibed during the day? Please let me know what town this is so I can avoid it.
