What's is your favorite style of party?!

Question: We have "taco nights" every so often. Been doing them for about 30 years! It started when my husband was in high school. Anyway - the guys take over the kitchen and put together all the ingredients for tacos. It is then served buffet style. They also make and serve margaritas to the girls and themselves. It's fun - they have a great time together and we girls get out of cooking for the night.

Sitting around eating, drinking and talking.
Background music.

A rave, woop woop!!!

i like theme parties. i threw a barney themed party, it was a kegger. it looked just like a kids birthday party, i had ddr, karaoke revolution, and tons of other party games. plus a cake that said "what happens at the barney party, stays at the barney party"

I also like anything with a theme. We just threw an awesome St Patty's Day party. Places like the local dollar store or Target's dollar section (surprisingly!) always have cool ideas/decorations for theme parties, things like edible shot glasses, themed party dice, etc.

Depends on who the party is for and the occasion.

If its only for myself it would probably just be a small group of friends, some good music, food, and drinks.

;)

Filipino style: Alot of food like a buffet style, oysters and bbq outside, desserts, no salads because no one is on diet on that day, alot of beer, hard liquor, wine, sodas and juices for kids, pinatas. Then when everyone is drunk, they talk crap & sing karaoke. When the night is over, they take home the leftovers. Its not a party when you can't take home anything.

Not so much a style, but any party I can feel comfortable at. Not something that I have to dress up for, or worry if I will fit in.
