I'm throwing a surprise 13th birthday for my little sister...What should I do?!

Question: I'm having trouble coming up with any ideas for her birthday. I want it to be special-something she will remember. I am only going to invite a few of her friends (3 to 5) and I'm not sure what would be fun and not too babyish for someone her age to do, but I don't want to throw something that I would want because it would be to old for her. I'd really appericiate some ideas! Thx! :D

RAID YOUR LOCAL DOLLAR STORE..lol

do a spa party wher you can get most of it from the local dollar store. Nail polish, facial masks, funk hair styles, oh and dont forget to ask each friend to bring movie to watch for a movie marathon while this is all going on. Even 13 yr olds do this or most of them do.

If its coed just do the movie marathon, order the usual pizzas, sodas, popcorn and junkfood. Have one person bring a scary movie, comedy, drama, action, and Horror flick to watch. Get a little of each in one night. And after reading the one girls suprise for her sister I think thats a great idea. Or even "kidnapp" her for her surprise would be fun.

Sorry I dont have better ideas, my girls are under age 10 yet so Im trying.

Well, I am 13 and I got a suprise birthday party to. ((turning 14 in 10 dayz)) and my sis got me about 5 scary movies and invited 5 of my friends and then we sat around and danced and took picz of eachother. it was fun.

Rent a couple good movies.
Box of Microwave popcorn, maybe get 2 different flavors
Pizza - Can make their own or order
Make Milkshakes or Frozen fruit slushie drinks and serve in the inexpensive Novelty Large Plastic cups, like a Pina Colada or Daiquiri
Blankets, pillows, bean bags, whatever you've got throw all over the room you're watching the movies in.
Gotta have a cake, but that's an easy thing to do

Have all the girls dropped off while your sister is out of the house.

Have fun, good luck!

My friend's mom threw her a surprise birthday party around that age. I was invited to the party, and here's what she did.

Her mom had invited about 5 of her daughter (sydney) friends to be a part of her surprise party. We all went to the movie theater and waited for Sydney and her mom to show up.

Sydney came with her mom and SURPRISE! We all surprised her outside of the movie theater!

Then, we saw the movie, ate a good lunch and opened presents, and "went home."
Sydney's mom said "Alright, Sydney let's go out for some icecream and go shopping!" So Syd and her mom went out for icecream and went shopping, and Sydney thought all of the girls would go home at that time.

We didnt go home however. The mom had told all of the invited girls to secretly met back up at Sydneys house. So we did! We decorated the place, and got ready for a second surprise! lol.

When Sydney got back from shopping and came into our house, SURPRISE! We surprised her again! lol.

She had NO idea it was coming! To this day she continues to mention that birthday party and how fun it was!

Good luck =D

Well, just think of something she likes a lot and make that into a party. Like my dad for his surprise party, we had real poker dealers come since he loves to play poker. We invited some of his family and friends! He had a blast! I hope this helped! Good luck!

Good Luck.

have a mini spa day in your house. give them make overs, have them do each others nails. once their are all made over, take them out to flaunt their stuff while you sit with a friend to keep an eye on them. go to somewhere popular where everyone hangs out.

get permission from your parents and invite loads of friends to party

A spa/beauty party, as someone earlier suggested, would be fun, but how about a craft party? Depending on what you like, all the girls could decorate mini purses or something. You would just need craft glue, sequins, ribbons and buttons. You can find most of these items at the dollar store. A cooking party would be fun, too. The girls can make a few funk and funky party foods and then enjoy them with some "mocktails" (non-alcoholic mixed drinks). End the pary with cake, a make-your-own ice cream sundae and presents! Good luck and have a great party!

Mocktail Recipes:

Fuzzy Fizzy: Put equal parts peach juice and sprite in a glass with or without ice (your choice) and add a splash of grenadine syrup...

Tropical "Martini": Put equal parts orange juice, pineapple juice, and ginger ale or sprite in a glass and garnish with a lime wedge...

Mix and match any of the party ideas listed and you will no doubt end up with a great party!
