Drinking party question...?!

Question: I am having a gathering with a bunch of friends over. And we want to get drunk but not trashed. I just want everyone to drink and have fun but not get to drunk. So whats the best alcohol and what should I serve? Should I do shots or like cocktails? Any suggestions. We will also be smoking. Thanks!

Wine will give everyone a mellow buzz but hopefully not enough to get too smashed. The main trick is to not mix--serve one or two types of liquor and make sure people don't switch around. Avoid shots--you can all get seriously trashed that way. If you're smoking pot use pipes--it will stretch further and not get used up as fast as rolling joints.

mildest drink i can think of is cheap beer, lol. Helpful hint: Hopefully everyone involved will be 21 and over. You don't want to have worse case scenario happen: cops get called, you getting arrested.

keep a bottle of rum (white) and a bottle of vodka... various mixers. 12 pack of brew. 2 bottles of wine, white and red.
water, juice, ice.
if this all disappears, no beer runs.
it is almost impossible to monitor peoples consumption at a party...some bring their own, some have different party favors...
some are just hardcore.
you could offer to mix and wait on everybody all night...but then you won't have much fun.
use intuition and best judgment with a party goer who may need to take a nap...insist that they do.
offer coffee too! food helps.

i think you should do cocktails. with shots you kind of loose track and its quicker to get blazed with shots

sunsets like orange juce red cordial and vodka :)

Beautiful glassed make the party warm and something in there
is softening. Have a good time.

keg of natty light, jello shots, assorted bottles of liquor for shots. lots of extra blankets and pillows for those that drink too much. play beer pong and flip cup. those are my party favorties!
