Please don't call me a rich spoiled brat?!

Question: i'm having my 13th birthday party with my 2 best friends.
our theme is Hollywood (we live in LA.)

we are going to have a pre-party about 3 weeks before the party at one of our houses. this will be a pool party, just the normal with food ect. here we will hand out balloons that read "POP ME!" as the guests walk out the door at the end of the party. inside of the balloons will be our real party invitation, which is why you need to pop the balloon. (to get the invitation out.)

at the real party, we're renting out a big space and having things that have to do with Hollywood like a DJ, Rock Band (by Guitar Hero), henna tattoos, a red carpet, things like that.

would you enjoy this? what would make it better? any ideas would be appreciated. thanks<3

What a cool party. I would hire a photographer to do red carpet pics as people walk in and send the pictures home with them.

You could also get some plaster of Paris or cement and and some 4 inch deep rectangular bins and kick off the party by putting your hands and shoe prints in them just like the they did outside of Mann's chinese theatre in the old days.

It would also be cool to remember the party by taking pictures from the party and putting together your own fake gossip mag with them afterwards.

You should definitely hand out disposable cameras and it might be fun to project some scenes from famous movies on the wall.

rich spoiled brat!! just kiddin lol

sounds amazing have fun

well when you're done with that, you're so far up your own a.ss I dunno what else there is to do. but hey, what do I know... if you have the money to waste, WHY NOT!?

popping a balloon sounds annoying..

sounds cool but yes you are spoiled....

Pretty cool. Like the ones on Super Sweet Sixteen.

Sounds like a blast......I wish I had a friend like you when I was 13 :)

I think if you want to make it really red capret-ish, you should have limos pick up the guests and drop them off in front of your house and have photographers doing th "paparazzi" thing. You could hand out Tiffany bracelets to your guests if you can't afford Harry Winston.

Your pre-party and party sound fun! How about having a bar with some non-alcoholic mixed drinks served in fancy glasses. You could also serve some fancy gourmet hors d'oeuvres. Give out glow bracelets and necklaces as favors or have the band toss them into the crowd.

Good luck and have fun!

Add cocaine to the mix n your Hollywood theme will be complete! No but really put some black lights in there along with that black light paint. Like have one corner JUST for having messy fun.

sounds like daddy will pay anything to make you happy HAPPY BDAY

sounds like fun! you should have a dance contest like dancing w/the stars or Americas Best dance crew. Have everyone's photo taken when they get there and record them saying a special bday message.

that sounds amazing and really creative i bet you guys will have a whole bunch of fun good luck =}

If I give you advice will you invite me too??

How about a videographer? Karaoke? Hire a man with a monkey to walk around. People in costume (like on Hollywood BLVD). How about something where people can make hand prints - like on the walk of fame???

I would make it way better by showing up, point a balloon east and let it go and see if it comes to me.

Sounds like you guys will be having a lot of fun! It's a great idea! You could look into temp spray tattoos as well as the henna, they last about 1 1/2 weeks then wash away. Something else funky you might try... see if you can get (or make) some little award statues, then halfway through the party you could hand them out - kinda cheesy maybe, but fun. You know - best dressed, most dramatic entrance, craziest dance move etc. If you let people know before hand it could lead to some great fun because everyone will be trying to fit into one of your categories! lol Know any photographers that could follow you around - like they do the big stars...!!!???
Hmmm, I'm bubbling with a million ideas here but I don't want to yap too much. I hope you have a wicked good time, happy 13th b-day! Cheers!

Sounds really cool, I would enjoy it.

in there it sounds like your have it under control LOL and Happy birthday

WOW! if you going to have a birthday party like that, you are going to have the best birthday you ever had!

yeah sounds like a blast, what about having everyone dress for the occasion. Like have them dress like hollywood glam actresses and actors with feather boas and all the glitz! for example... hot looking dresses, high heels, sunglasses/stunna shades, blingin jewelry etc. That would be off tha hook and go perfect walking down the red carpet! Heck maybe even have a fake paparazzi take pics as you and your best friends are walking down it...lol If your throwing a party like this im sure your gonna have a tight a s s ride to pull up in! Happy Early Birthday!

cool

you are not a spoiled brat, you just like to have fun in a cool way!

Spoiled Brat...
Your asking for it.
