Ideas=easy 10 points!!?!
*i'm having my 13th birthday party with my 2 best friends.
our theme is Hollywood (we live in LA.)
*we are going to have a pre-party about 3 weeks before the party at one of our houses. this will be a pool party, just the normal with food ect. here we will hand out balloons that read "POP ME!" as the guests walk out the door at the end of the party. inside of the balloons will be our real party invitation, which is why you need to pop the balloon. (to get the invitation out.)
*at the real party, we're renting out a big space and having things that have to do with Hollywood like a DJ, Rock Band (by Guitar Hero), henna tattoos, a red carpet, things like that.
would you enjoy this? what would make it better? any ideas would be appreciated. thanks<3

If you're going Hollywood for the 'real' party, make the invitations tickets to your party. If folks bring presents to the pre-party, be sure to tell them they don't need to bring another one to the real party. You may want to have some small fun gift to give each guest to pop the balloon with. It may be a hairstick, a lapel pin, earrings, whathaveyou. Have fun!

i would luv to go to party like that it sounds awsome but i would also add sumthing were u have a game thing and u hand 2 pple cards (the same card)with celebs names on it and u have a dress up box things and they have to both dress up as that person and who ever looks more like that celeb wins and gets a prize

Maybe you should get your hair done and have makeup, and have really cute outfits so it is like you are ready for a party like a real star. You guys could stay up late and watch movies and talk all night!!

that sounds so cool you are so Lucky you get to have a party like that and live in LA. I live in Ohio it is freezing the first day of spring. but anyway that sounds great. a party to me is having cupcakes at home with my family and one Friend.

I'm 13, and that sounds amazingly fun!! No ideas to make it better.
In that " baloon popped invitation" suggest that the guests come "dressed to impress" at the real party!
Meanwhile...
Take pictures of guests at the pool party or make a movie of guests talking about a subject: Favorite actor/actress, favorite movie of all time; if your favorite book could be made into a movie, what would it be and who would you want to be the leads and supporting cast.
Might have a few inexpensive throwaway cameras at pool party and let guests or adults in the know take candid shots. Pictures will be shown at real party.
Make posters or show a slide show on screen at the real party.
Have funny or real awards for most daring swimsuit, biggest splash, greatest kidster... but be kind...no worst moment type of award..ie-.bad hair day and that type of thing. YOU ARE INVITING FRIENDS and let's keep them that way!
Suggestion: Candy bar with Gold foil wrap and Label that gives person's award meaning. (Be sure that all your guests get some type of award...best supporting musketeer, actor, pool vaulting, cola drinker. I'm sure all of you collectively can come up with at least one individual trait to gift an award to a friend. Prettiest smile, biggest blue eyes, best listener, etc. Biggest cutup, best (sport or game) player.
If possible pick something that you've got a picture of at the first party to give the guest the award for. (Yes, I know, don't end a sentence with a preposition.)
If you and your two friends put a glowing spot light on all of your guests for Your collective party, then surely everyone will have a good time.

but to make it more fun...they have to pop the balloons with there butts. it will be funny and interesting.
at the actual party, you should have like a video show of you and you're friends rocking it out on your Guitar Hero III. and as little gift for ya friends....uhm give em sunglasses. Not any sort of sunglasses, the one like SouljaBoy had in his music video. And instead of it saying, soulja boy, have it say their names or some catchy phrase you guys say.
