What are good ideas for a colleged theme party?!
Answers: we're having a party and we want to make it a themed one. and suggestions?
Ok---is it a theme party at college or is it a college theme party? In any case, I love a good theme party so let's see:
Themes- Luau, the 80s, 70s, or 60s, pimps and hos (gooooood fun!),mexican fiesta, dress up as your favorite movie star or character, pirate party (sounds kiddie but it's lot's of fun).
Now, if you are trying to recapture your youth or something by doing a college-themed party, which I've actually done before, make sure it's in a basement or some darkish place. Play beer pong, flip cup, quarters, etc. Get a beer bong. Have everyone where college gear or make up your own frat and make shirts (you can come up with some filthy greek letter combos if you apply yourself), listen to dave matthews or old school hip hop, drink cheap beer (warm if you can stand it, lol) and consider getting a large, plastic container to make jungle juice. (traditionally made by assigning half the guests to bring fruit juice and the other half some clear liquor and dumping it all in the container, with ice if you're lucky0
Hi here are some great themes
Sapphire party have all your guests dress in a shade of blue (like you more common sapphire) then you wear yellow (like a rear sapphire) in this event all eyes will be on her. Then you can have a d.j., and dance the night away if you don’t want to dance then throw a fashion show with a runway and everything (have our you go on last)
Crazy color theme: go to a party city or just an average party supplies store and look at their solid table wear pick three to four really bright colors then buy table an even number of table clothes in each color then divide the colors you use for your cups plates forks ect. (http://www.partycity.com/cgi-bin/parties... also with those same colors find the streamers to match and just go wild with them, also find the balloons to match then take one of each color and separate them one closest to the table then the next a lil higher, then the next just a lil higher and so on for your centerpieces much like this (http://wrapituppartyplanning.com/images/... but separated if you look at the website that this picture came from you will see what I am talking about…then hve your guest dress in a whole bunch of crazy color and collect a dollar from everyone at the door and award the craziest dressed person with the money
Masquerade: buy little masks from party city and then buy a whole bunch of feathers and jewels then have them decorate their own mask then have them do a fashion show wearing their masks then give a prize to the girl or boy with the best mask!
glow in the dark club buy a black light and tell your guests to wear white then hand out glow sticks, necklaces, and bracelets anything turn off the lights and just have your black lights on and possibly a strobe light then let the dj play music and you guys dance
grafitti parties-everyone wear white and bring a highlighter to draw on eachothers shirts.... put black lights in your lighting fixtures. gets pretty funny.
Mustaccio Basheo-(spelling?) our rugby team throw this party once a year and it is HILLARIOUS and alot of fun. All the guys grow out their mustaches and wear suits and the women dress to match them.... sounds totally off the wall, but definitely provides great memories
Anything goes but clothes party- everyone has to dress up covering themselves with anything but clothes.... some people wear caution tape they make into a dress for example.
