Ive posted the same question.
ive been lookin for ages now the best ideas are the ones that reflect on you're personality.
Ive come across some pretty cool ideas
- 60's rock and roll and have fast food./ milkshakes [big hair and skirts]

- Out door party. Have a projecter on the side of ur house watch a film. in the cold n have popcorn and icecream

- Hollywood themed party
hire a function suite have a red carpet put out. like a prom.

- Chocolate party
Hire a function room. chocolate fodue. etc..

- Limo Party
2 hours in a limo. and then go to pizza hut or salon/ concert.

It depends on who and how much you want to spend. im looking at a budget of £300.00 and i rly like them pink premier suites at alton towers.
You could try paintballing or bowling/Cinema/Themepark/Disco/Concert/

For a party, try to organise a normal party at home or maybe at a restaurant or so. Make a big one when u are 16 y.o...

For a birthday present. Hmm, ask for a handphone

So I am had no idea for my 14th birthday either but what I did was go retro. create a good atmosphere fun retro music like absolutely everybody or hey baby
My games:
-pass-the-passel
-limbo
-strings all around the room attached to a bounty bar at the end
-the chocolate game (you know the one with the dressups and the poncho)
-movies, boardgames,and pool fun

hope that is useful

ounce i took like 6 people to the circus, ounce i brought my best friend to disneyland and last year a friend and i had a bollywood theme (movie, dancing, food,...). this year i am thinking of having an at-home-spa party (manicures, facials, massages,...) if you live somewhere cold ice-skating could be good. if you want it to just be a couple people there's always the slumber-party and for a lot of people you could have like a prom theme (everyone has to come in twos with fancy clothes and stuff).
hope this helps and happy birthday !

Have a themed party, like Gothic, or a dress up party like 70's clothes, 80's clothes. But themes are always good.
Oh and happy birthday =)

THERE IS THIS COOL IDEA
every one comes dressed up in clothes of different colours and by the end of the night every one has to be in the one colour clothes blue red etc
