We are having a BBQ tommorrow and I need help finding new side dishes that are still quick I am sick of?!
Answers: Baked potatoes, potatosalads, cole slaw, mac salad, mac n cheese any IDEAS!!!
My husband has a signature potato dish he makes on the grill:
we buy a bag of hash browns, put them into a tinfoil bag type thing(he just envelopes regular foil), add a stick of butter, then he adds salt, pepper and all purpose seasoning(the red colored stuff) and a dash of garlic salt. Grill until the potatoes are warm(the best ones are the ones that are crunchy and stick to the bottom of the foil=)
GOOD LUCK AND I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS OUR FAMILY AND NEIGHBORHOOD DOES=}
Canned baked beans and add a little bbq sauce and dijon mustard to them. Corn on the cob is always good also.
refried beans?
sushi?
I make this stuff I call, potato stuff, it is real easy.
take whole potatoes and cut them into slices about 1/4 in.
boil the potatoes.
place in a Pyrex baking pan (size depends on how much you are cooking)
season with a little thyme, salt, pepper
add some cream of mushroom soup, and a little evaporated milk.
add some cheddar cheese and cover with foil
place in the over at about 300 for about 20 min (the soup and cheese should cook into a boil.
let it cool and serve
good luck
