30th surprise birthday party help?!?!

Question: I am aspiring to be a party planner and I have taken up my aunts birthday to do a little practice. this isnt the 1st party ive planned but its already proven to be the toughest. My aunt loves bulldogs, she has 2, she is a vegetarian trying to be vegan, her fave color is blue, an she is turning 30. I want the main theme to be bulldogs but usually when i do themes I incorporate the menu and activities into it also and I am having trouble with that. should I just skip the bulldog thing and do blue napkins, plates, etc and just have some games and foods that she loves set out?

Maybe just use shades of blue as your main "theme" as in different shades of blue balloons in bunches scattered around. Have dark blue plates, light blue utensils, and turquoise napkins, etc. Maybe to tie in the bulldog thing, just have a bakery make a cake shaped like a bulldog. Does she have any other passions, hobbies, interests that could be turned into a theme?

Have everyone who attends to bring 30 of her favorite things or 30 of things that she will actually be able to use, like $30 gift certificates or 30 tampons. It can be really fun and creative.
