What is Pre-formulated chocolate?!

Question: I had a chocolate fountain for xmas and when I read the instructions is said you can eaither use normal choc melted down with vegetable oil, or use pre-formulated choc. I have no idea what pre-formulted choc is and where I can find it. Can someone please help me. Thanks.

(ANS) Pre-formulated chocolate is whats called "cake" (there are other various names for this) it is the raw chocolate in its most basic form, its made from a high % coco butter. It is the raw chocolate BEFORE its refined further by the chocolate makers into something that most people might buy in a shop as a box of chocolates or as bars.

**Pre-formulated chocolate doesn't taste very nice either.
