Is it to early to tell people we are throwing a 4th of July party?!

Question: We just bought our first house and want to throw a party this summer to celebrate. Its right near the lake so we want it to be warm enough to enjoy the water.

yeah you can start telling people if you do tell them then there will be a possibility that more people will come because they planned ahead and they have to go to that party that your throwing and they will cancel the other plans!!!
hope that helps

You can start telling your friends and family now so they will save the date, then when its closer, send out cute invitations for your big day. Never hurts to make sure people are available for your party!

If you want an rsvp.. I think mid-May is early enough. People will forget if you send information tooooo early.

no

nopee - gives every1 time to get themselves organised - and at least ull know how many ppl may come -
ppl can also giv u ideas for the party - so u got time to gather ideas and put them alll together :]
hopee party goess ok btw :] have funn

You could send out an informal "save the date" note, but don't expect people to commit to it yet. Send out the real invitations closer to the date.

of course not,
thast way people wont plan to do something else!
but make sure you send out reminders
closer to time!
