Should I have a Sweet 16 party?!

Question: Well My b-day is actually not until the fall but im trying to plan a little bit in advance my hugest fear is that nobody would come but idk i would be having it at a hotel and i would try to get a band for example Vampire Weekend? idk how those partys go so does anyone have any thoughts ideas etc.
