Spa Party Ideas?!

Question: I am hosting a BeatiControl spa party and would like some ideas of inexpensive food and drink ideas. (No alochol though). I'd like to set the mood of the party as relaxing, fresh, and pampering, so I'd like to have the food and beverages reflect that. Also, any ideas for decorations or how to set my house up? I have thought about making or buying some big huge floor pillows for people to sit on since I only have one couch. I want people to feel comfy and relaxed. Any thoughts?

I think your idea of the floor pillows is excellent and - now that I am reading this, in response to your other question about making them, I would say using terry cloth towels as the outer material would work well with your "theme". I would definitely have lots of little candles everywhere, using mirrors under them helps with the light and will add to the feel of the spa. Also using clear glass trays and some of those clear/colored beads around your candles would add some elegance. Lots of plants and flowers, I would stick with a lot of earthy type tones, like greens, browns, whites, etc. Some soft natural music, like waterfalls, rainstorms...I don't know what you call it but sounds of nature, I guess. A cheap arrangement could be made with a glass vase and some sticks from a tree outback - even nicer if you have bamboo where you live. As for food options, I would serve some light finger foods, like cucumber finger sandwiches, everyone likes spinach dip - serve that in a bread bowl. Of course you will have to have a fruit tray....even better, how about fruit kabobs? Get some recipes online for some refreshing teas, like mint tea or green teas, a good russian tea; and sparkly fruit drinks. And another "decorating idea" if it isn't too humid where you are, add a humidifier (possibly hidden behind some type of foliage) it will add to the aura of a spa. I think you can add scents to most humidifiers.

Well, my sis once had an amazing spa party with her 6 closest friends. She decorated the area with scented leaves and sprayed vanilla perfume all over the place. You could have a little area to hang out, with some big feather pillows and a small table with playing cards and magazines. You could get your hair done, put on some mascara, have foot, hand and back massages, put on some make up. Put on some relaxing music, no loud music. You could have a small buffet table close to the area with salad, fruit, chicken, maybe some fondue- cheese or chocolate. No greasy food because you'll get dirty. To drink you could have some iced tea and pink lemonade. I assure you this would be the best spa ever. You could have some scented candles and fresh roses or any other type of flowers.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

set out trays of light foods, no breads and heavy things. some fruit, veggies, CUCUMBER is the best. drinks, lemonade, hot tea, cold tea, ice cold water to hydrate. put on some nature soundtracks or enya or something soothing (not too loud).dim the lights, light loads of candles and the fireplace if you have one. make it comfortable. blankets to the side, pillows, a lot of seating. do the pillow idea! have fun

you could eat finger sandwhiches. like cucumber, chicken salad, and egg salad. those are sort of relaxing. for drinks maybe lemonade, or kiddie cocktails are really good. (sprite, cherry juics, and cherries) i think floor pillows or bean bag chairs is a great idea. they seem more relaxing then a couch.
you probably already have face mask ideas if your even doing them, but here are fun ones. http://www.missoandfriends.com/misso/the...
hope you like my ideas=]

umm well you can have cider as a drink with like triangle cut sandwitches and fruit. decorations: big throw pillows would be great and some like pretty light colored flowers...
