Do you like coconuts better from the South or the North?!

Question: Is there a difference? If not, which one's better?

Answers: Is there a difference? If not, which one's better?

GOODNESS GRACIOUS!! I thought nobody else knew the difference!! I do love the tangier taste of the northern breed, but the sweet and milky taste of the southern is my all time favorite. We should have a coconut party together!

I thought a coconut was a coconut.

Am I wrong...?

No difference that I can think of.

No difference whats so ever. A coconut tastes the same where ever it is grown. Just make sure that when you buy one and shake it, you can hear the milk inside, otherwise it is old and going off. Did you know that in the 2nd world war ( no I am not that old ), they used coconut milk as a substitute for blood when they were short, as it was the nearest match to our blood plasma, for transfusions.
