Graduation party question!?!

Question: Me and my best friend is graduating college around the same time and we were gonna have a graduation party together. Most likely there will be alotta people coming,so we plan on getting alot of liquer, food(and possibly a keg and DJ).So we're thinking about charging people to get in,but dunno if that'll be appropriate.....So should we charge our guest and if so how much a person is resonable?

Is this a sorority party or a graduation party? I wouldn't charge your guest, unless you are just doing a 'schools out' house party. But if you're actually having the party honoring you and your friends achievements, don't charge.
If you still want to have a party to honor you and your friend, cut back on cost. Get a few kegs, some snacks and have a friend DJ.... or just set up a play list on your MP3.
If you want to have a end of year bash and you don't care who shows, then charge an entrance fee of no more than 5 bucks. And get the booze, food, and DJ. But there is no grantee that you are going to make your money back. And be prepared for things to get out of hand, broke, and stolen. : )
Have fun and congrats!

You cant chrage you guests!!!! When you invite people to something it isnt supposed to be a fndraiser...they are supossed to be flatered that they are invited!, if u charge them then it feels like they are jusdt invited because you want to get money out of them

no you shoudlent make ur GUESTS pay!
if you want to have all that extra thats your choice not theirs

That's not cool. Don't do it. I wouldn't bring your *** a gift if I had to pay to get in. lol Congrats! :)

No, don't charge, its a graduation party that only happens once in your life. If it was an yearly event then I would say charge but it's just a get together for all friends to celebrate your graduation.

congratulations!
