I'm planning a Masquerade party for me sweet 16??!
Answers: i'll be turning sixteen in july and was hoping to have a Masquerade ball but i'm not sure if it'll work. how do i get people interested and what do i do? how would i set it up, about how much would it cost, what kind of food do i serve, and do you think anyone would actully be interested??
I would. And it might work. Here's some tips:
1.) *Get people interested* make a very fancy invite. tell them about the food. (guys luv food, right?) and make it a black tie thing. tell them they have 2 wear a mask and cant reveal their identity. That way, people can meet new people without knowing it. (u can reveal urself at the end)
2.) *set up* Use ur house! set up ur house VERY fancy. tables (glass if u have em, if not, use fancy white table cloth) serve very fine food, like have a mini chocolate fountain, ya kno, fancy stuff.

I agree that you need a really awesome invitation to set the tone for the party. Get your girlfriends involved with the planning - they'll be more excited about the big event.
