You should go see your local butcher, they often do reasonably priced party packs, that include lots of saugages meat patties and steaks (some include other meats as well), they generally have lots of different varieties, and through a butcher the meat is normally very good!. They can range in price from $30 (for snags and patties) to $100 for a range of meat items!.

If there are vegetarians attending, Halomi (Halumi) cheese if great on the BBQ, it retails in a small block form for a few dollars, cut it into strips (as wide as the block and 0!.5cm long) and BBQ on two sides, serve with lemon wedges!. Its also great to BBQ some vegies, like zuchinni and eggplant (again cut into slices and BBQ on both sides)!.

Some salads (simple ones) are also great, as well as all the essentials (sauces, bread, paper plates, serviettes)!.

A colour theme can help create an atmosphere, and it can be as easy as getting all the paper plate, serviettes and bowls to match with a few balloon around the place!

For Sweets, BBQ banana are really nice, as is BBQ pineapple!

For entertainment you can't go pass simple childrens games, a game of pin the tail on the donkey is amusing for adults, as are other simple games!. other alternatives are to set up gaming stations, so have a few tables with boards games scattered around the area, particularly simple and quick board games, a great one is called 'greed' which is a quick and easy game with no limits on how many players!.

Interactive games are also good, we have had someone find picture from old TV shows (we chose the theme of cartoons from the 80's and 90's) and you have to guess the show, we also had the soundtracks and short clips!. if you have a computer whiz around they can often assit, and people love to guess! This game started as competitive and then ended up as an all in team experience, which made it more fun!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
