Ok, well I'm from Texas and pretty much have grown up at BBQs, so when I saw your question I felt obligated to answer!. Here are some of the best simple little recipes, cause who wants to be in a kitchen on a hot day!?

Buy a bag of tortillas (flour or corn tastes best), spread with a little butter, sprinkle with red pepper powder, cut into strips and place on a cookie sheet!. Bake them for about 10 minutes (till crispy and puffy) at 375!. *Much better than any old bag kind)
Serve with some nacho cheese from the store warmed up with a jar of salsa mixed in!.

Sweet iced tea is just about a must

Melon balls (honey dew, watermelon, cantalope)

Spicy cornbread biscuits- Buy a pack of cornbread and prepare as it directs!. Next mix in some diced red and yellow pepper, a little jalapeno if you'd like and bake!. Half way through the bake time, sprinkle with shredded cheese!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
