Here's my suggestion!. Send out a "house warming party" invitation from www!.evite!.com!. You could ask people to bring a side dish if you want!. Or, get a bunch of appetizers from Costco or Sam's Club!. They have great Deli Spirals, Petitie Quiches, etc!. Or, get a veggie tray or fruit tray from the grocery store!. You could also make it yourself (for cheaper)!.!.!.especially if you're having a lot of people!. If it's a small group (3-5) you could do a nice dinner setting with candles, music, etc!. Take everyone on a nice tour of your place when they arrive, maybe have some music on in the background, candles lit!.!.or if you don't like candles you can pick up those nice liquid reed diffusers from Pier 1, Target, etc!.!.!.they give off a nice scent!. More than likely, people will bring you something!.!.!.most people bring a bottle of wine, or a nice cookbook, or a candle!.!.!.something like that!. Sounds like fun and good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just set out finger foods!.!.!.chips and dip, veggie sticks, cheese and crackers, fruit salad!.!.!.green salad!.!.!.

or

Chili Bar:
Make a big pot of chili and set out a variety of toppings, such as shredded cheeses (2 or 3 kinds), peppers, sour cream, etc!. Keep the chili in a crock pot on low and it will stay warm!.

Just add drinks and you are ready to party!

Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

HOUSE WARMING PARTY! TACO'S ARE ALWAYS A FAV OR SLOPPY JOE'S IN A CROCK POT!. IF YOU HAVE A FIRE PIT A BONFIRE WITH SOME DRINKS WOULD BE FUN!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

=D thats warmy alright!Www@FoodAQ@Com

get few pizzas and a pony keg and some sodas and invite everyone over, you can give them an invitation, and you'll get stuff for your house, as gifts!.make it more fancy if you want, sandwiches, wings, chips/dips, cake, but if you don't have alot of things to serve stuff in, it's a good way to accumulate some!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Usually a House warming party in hosted by someone other than the home owners! If you want to have something call it an Open House!

Have plenty of food and drinks!

Have a great time!Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's called a housewarming party and etiquettly speaking - one does not throw their own housewarming!.
But now days nearly anything goes!.!.!.soooo!.!.!. do what you want!. But usually at a housewarming party there are just drinks and a few Hors d'oeuvres!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

As some of the others have said, you are not supposed to throw your own housewarming party!. Do you have a close friend or family member that would be willing to host it for you!? If so, she should be the one who plans the theme, games, prizes, and menu!. That would be your day to relax!.!.!.!.at least until you have to clean up after your guests leave! But, a good hostess would help with that too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

set out finger foods, like a relish tray with carrots, celery, black olives, green olives, and a dip, and some chips and dip, maybe some sort of pasta salad or potato salad, and if you have a grill and feel up to bbqing then cook up some hamburgers and hot dogs!.!.!. and maybe some soda or make some iced tea or lemonadeWww@FoodAQ@Com

well arrange a date which works for you and ask people if they would like to come over!.
food + music then the rest would be up to you
Good Luck!.
