To start with, it will all depend on the tastes of your guests!. A good coctail will not taste too strong; some favourites of mines are:
Black or White Russian: Vodka, Kahlua, add cream for white version:
Mojito; Lime, Mint leaves, Lime juice, Sugar syrup and 3 parts white rum, 6 parts soda water!. ( very refreshing ):
Sidecar: Brandy Cointreau and lemon juice:

A mojito is traditionally made of five ingredients: rum, sugar (traditionally sugar cane juice), lime, carbonated water and mint!. Its combination of sweetness and refreshing citrus and mint flavors are intended to mask the potent kick of the rum, and have made this clear cocktail a popular summer drink!.
To make a Mojito, juice from a lime is added to sugar and mint leaves in a tall glass!. The mixture is then gently mashed repeatedly with the end of a rolling pin!. Crushed ice is then added, followed by rum and topped off with club soda!.

I like a Cointreaupolitan!.!.!.!.!.!.made with Cointreau, cranberry juice and a liberal big squeeze of lemon juice!.!.!.mmmm divine!!!!!! much better than the usual cosmos!.

A real nice splash of spring is a French Martini!
In the shaker put, one measure of pineapple juice, one of CHAMBOURG (a raspberry liquer) and two of vodka!. Add ice and shake for 3-5mins!. Pour into cocktail glasses and add a twist of lime or lemon rind to float on the pink foam at the top of the glass!. This recipe is for two cocktails!.
It smells of sweet berries and syrup, it's kind of tart and sweet in equal measure and tastes smooth and fruity, beware though, they are more lethal than the taste suggests but very yummy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Strawberry Daquiri's or Blueberry Lemonade Sangria!
Strawberry Daquiri you need strawberries, rum, ice, and strawberry puree, you can find this in the mix drink section of any grocery store!. I can't rememeber the brand but it tastes just like freshly squeezed strawberry nectar!. Blend in the blender, but you'll need to play with the ingredients to find which amounts you like best!.

Get on bottle of White wine, Chardonnay is best *just get the cheapest you can find*, but make sure it is real wine, not arbor mist or brands like that!. Pour the bottle into a pitcher!. Add 1/2 a can of frozen concentrated lemonade into the pitcher along with a half of bag of frozen blueberries!. Put in refridgerator to sit for at least 2 hours, but the longer is sits the better!.
