I need two different menu ideas for two housewarming parties?!
I just bought my first house and I would like to have two housewarming parties!. One party with my family that I would like to be sitdown and kinda fancy and the other with more friends more casual not sit down!. What are some good menu ideas for the parties!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I did the same thing with family and friends separate!. With the family I would do something traditional in your family!. For example, my mom always made a wonderful roast, so when I had my housewarming I made that!. I had some nice wine and made angle food cake with strawberries for dessert!.
With my friends I did a wine tasting party!. Everyone brought their favorite wine and I provided the food!. We had fun finger foods like, finger sandwiches, grapes and cheese, different breads and such!. I made a cheesecake for people to have a little sweet at the end of the night!.
