Answers:
Seed packets make great party favors!. And anyone can use them!.
Get a bunch of those small starter pots!.
some green and yellow ribbons!. (use theme colors)
Veggie or flower seed packets
Cellophane
Hole punch (if the seed packets don't have a hole already)
Blank Tags (or you can print them on the computer and cut them out) to print the name of the person the shower is for, date, year and event on the tag!. Maybe print a little poem on it!.

Cabbage seeds would be fun but not too many people would plant them!. :-)

Get some small candies like skittles or jelly bellies!. The jelly bellies in the party theme colors!.

Tuck a small piece of cellophane in each pot, make a little pocket and fill the little pots with the candy!.
Tie each bundle with ribbon and loop the seed packet and the tag to the bundle!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Something separate, for girl get like coffee mugs and chocolate (actually that would work for both men and women)
also for the gals get like a cute little bag (my mum got one for cheap at Ross or walmart) But stuff office related, like tiny photo albums, a set of cute pens they'll be able to use :]
I don't really know about guys besides the coffee idea!.!.!.and chocolate!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

at a wedding shower I went to they had coffee mugs, and three of the mugs had a red sticker on the bottom those three people won a prize but everyone got to keep the coffee mug!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Go to your local $1 store (Dollar Tree is especially good) !.!.!. You can find glass wine and margarita glasses - and usually some hand-painted ones (and coffee mugs) for $1 each!. Maybe you could give each guest a margarita glass, filled with jelly bellies to match the sex of the baby-to-be (blues & white; or pinks & white - or a mix of pink & blue & white), with a bow around the stem (put the candy into little baggies)!.!.!.!.!. The grocery stores usually have bins that you can buy jelly bellies in bulk, and choose your colors!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you can never go wrong with chocolate!. i always just make baby shower favors with the free printable wrappers i find at - http://www!.invitations-and-more!.com!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
