Answers:
Graduation parties are a big deal where I live!. Most people have a display area where the grads accomplishments are set up-awards, scrap books, newspaper clippings, Letterman's jackets, with the diploma and cap as the centerpiece!. Your art exhibit is a nice idea!. For my daughters graduation we had a buffet!. Cold food: Big bowl of tossed salad with choice of Italian or ranch dressing, rolls and butter, olives and pickles, potato salad, assorted giant sub sandwiches sliced with choice of condiments!. Hot food: rigatoni and meatballs in red sauce, scalloped cheesy potatoes with ham, fried chicken wings, mixed vegetables with herbs!. In a separate area we had the cake table and another table next to it with fruit salad in a watermelon boat, cookies, pastries and mints!. The hot food was kept hot in disposable chafers with sterno burners!. I made all the food myself with the exception of the wings, cake, and rolls!. We were also lucky to have a small army of family and friends that made pastries and cookies-but that's a tradition here too!. Our party was modest compared to others!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You might just want to do elaborate appetizers, passed by waiters with platters - like you were at the grand opening of a New York Art Gallery!.!. a chocolate fountain !.!.!. go for elegant and formal!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
