How to hold a "midsummer night's dream" themed party?!
in summer my friends and i are going to have a midsummer night's dream fairy land party in my backyard!.

for the music you could choose some old medieval sounding music with lutes or soft femal voices etc!. it may not really get people dancing but it would fit the theme!.
decorations-i think the main thing you think of when it comes to a midsummer nights dream is things that are floating, whispy, etc!. you could string tiney clear light everywhere, and maybe go to hobby lobby and get dragonflies to hang from trees, or even flowing pieces of pastel fabric that will blow around!. that would look pretty cool with the lights behind it!. you can find tons of fairy stuff online to decorate with!. add a lot of sparkle to things, and wrap ivy around chairs etc!. you can make big mushrooms with fairies on them and put them in the yard!.
food-green tea would be a good drink, or champagne if you are over 21!. something really light and fresh!. chocolate dipped pineapple and other friut, beef kabobs with peppers and onions, cotton candy would be cool!. small sugar cookies with sparkles!.
you could ask everyone to come as a different character, or on your invitation give them a link of costume ideas they could find online
