Crab Leg Night? White trashy?!
I "know" people who go to a buffet thats main course on thursday nights is Crab legs!. This is at a fancy Casino also!. Thousands of people wait in line to eat the "supposedly" scrumptuos crab legs!. I and many upper class people think this is so white trash because those crab legs are disgusting compared to a place that just serves them with a meal!. Its like these casino crab legs are the generic brand!.
Any thoughts on this!?
oh yeah, and the buffet on thursdays is 25 big bucks!.

I dont know that I have ever heard of a generic crabe leg!.!. crab meat on a salad bar, perhaps!. But, you can't fake a crab leg dude!.
Some people cant afford the places that offer your "real" crab legs and this is a special meal out!. Besides the fact that they (meaning anyone) are also treating themsleves to the REST of the buffet!.
Perhaps you SHOULD stick to your coffee house food, but hmm, isnt that a bit ridiculous too!? Paying four bucks for a muffin and maybe even more for your cup off coffee!? Thats sooo snotty of YOU (and your other "upper class" people!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm middle class and don't like buffet crab legs!. good crab legs tend to be expensive especially when you want to get alot of them the ones at the buffet are substandard but I look at it as a way of sampling!. the first time i tried crab legs was at a buffet and I thought they were o!.k!. but fresh ones while they cost a lot more are worth it!. my philosophy is that id rather have less of something high quality than a lot of something low quality, if its a luxury anyway but thats me!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
LOL!! I've heard of crab leg night at the casino here where I live!. But it isn't really white people attending, it actually leans heavily toward another ethnic group I'm not at liberty to disclose at this time!. They think they're getting an awesome deal!. Kinda like when the car dealerships hand out free hotdogs and 4 oz paper cups of Pepsi!. People around here go off the hook for that noise!.

eeeeeeeeeeeewww!! I live in Las Vegas, the Mecca of buffet dining!. For us, a crab leg buffet is just asking for trouble!. Yes, they are salty and bland, and No, I wouldn't wait an hour on line at ANY buffet!. The food at the coffee shops is better, and less expensive!.

I personally find them deelish, here in Chicago!! There isnt a wait for the seafood buffet here, and there is enough staff to cover the crowd, if there is one!. Well you couldn't pay me enough money to eat at one of those buffet type of places and I hate crab to boot!. They are always having those "Crab Feed" fundraisers around here!. I never got why they always have to choose crab legs!. So gross!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

white trash aside, I know what you mean!. People like to eat large volumes of food and something like crab legs thats percieved as a luxury can draw in hundreds of people who think theyre getting a deal on something they wouldnt otherwise cook themselves/afford!. The funny thing is for $25 per person you could buy 3 HUGE crab legs at costco that is enough for 2 people and are delicious!.!.just stop at KFC for your side dishes :) Those buffet crab legs are GA-ROSS!Www@FoodAQ@Com
