Picnics are nice but they require a lot of stuff (because you have to bring everything) and if the weather is bad then the picnic will be bad!. I would take her out to a restaurant that serves her favorite type of food or a cafe that serves great desserts!. perhaps a place near shops or a spa would be great because you could do a little shopping or get pedicures afterwards!.
You can use yelp to find great restaurants near you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My mom would probably prefer a picnic, but I'd make 'upscale' picnic food, not just sandwiches or burgers!. Are there some nice picnic spots near where you live!? Mother's Day is the busiest day of the year for restaurants so I would stay away due to crowds - but that's just me :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Take your mom out to a fun girl's out lunch!. You can't count on the weather to be beautiful, and you know if you take her out to a really chic, hip, or just nice-feeling restaurant or cafe she will really appreciate it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

a pincnic would be very nice!.

but i would know my mom would rather the lunch because she wouldnt want to sit in the grass and having bugs around her she would rather be in a resturant but your mom may be differantWww@FoodAQ@Com

Take her out for lunch!. Inside a place you don't have to worry for the weather or ants!. =]Www@FoodAQ@Com
