Question: My son is turning 5 in june please help me plan a party for him!. I dont want to chuck e cheese!.!?
Answers:
If you have a back yard, you could have a carnival themed party!. Go to a party supply rental and rent a blow up jumping house (some companies will come and set up for you), rent a sno-cone maker and/or cotton candy maker; have hot dogs for the meal!. You could hire someone to bring in a pony for pony rides; hire a magician to entertain the kids; set up some carnival themed games for the kids to play!. Just be sure that you have several adults to help with the party!.

How about a party at a roller skating arena!. The afternoons are generally not that busy; you can rent the party room for the cake and opening presents!. My son and his friends are 5 and they love roller skating!. They aren't that good, but they do have fun!. Nights are usually busy with the 12-15 year old crowd and not a good time!.

Bowling alley!.

The local park, pick place next to the playground and the bathroom!. Have the standard cake & ice cream; relay games (sack races-you can rent the sacks or use pillow cases; water balloon toss; horse shoes)!. If there's a fire pit, roast some marshmallows!. Again, be sure to bring plenty of help to watch all the kids!.

At 5, he'll just be glad to do anything that you label a "party"!. Kids aren't really that hard to please!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Actually, i work at a chuck e cheese, and i know its a parents worse nightmare, but its really not THAT bad!. I find that parents who book parties early, like around 10 or 11 am, things go much smoother, and its not as hectic and crowded!. but once it hits 1 pm, its packed, and the parents patience is not very high!. most kids your sons age love chuck e cheeses!. the best part is the live chuck e cheese peformance when your child gets to meet the rat himself :] and on top of that, the parents get a dedicated host/hotess who is there to help assist with everything, so parents can just sit back and relax!. maybe you should reconsider :]
the only downside is that it can be quite expensive depending on the amount of kids you invite!. maybe keep it to a miniumum of 10 to help keep the price down!.
hope this helps!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, just thinking of the parties I remember when I was a kid!. The ones I remember the most!. The ChuckECheese were GREAT! I also really enjoyed the ones where my friends and I stayed up all night playing video games/nerf guns (That may be when he gets older)!.

If you just keep it simple and basically let him do what he wants for a day, while eating pizza/soda/ice creme/cake, It's foul-proof!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
