A few ideas, hope some of them are the right for your party!.

-buy A LOT of drinks and snacks: beers but also cocktails, juices, spirits, coffee!.
-make a nice selection of music, don't hear the same music over and over on that night, make sure there are diferent genres of music, make a list a couple of days in advance!.
-disguise parties are always very, very funny: you could organise a "*****&pimp" party (everyone dressed up like hookers, sluts and gangster-like pimps)
Or, maybe even better for independence day, you could tell everybody to dress in an 18th century outfit ( a soldier, farmer, cowboy, indian, priest,!.!.!.)

Have lots of fun!Www@FoodAQ@Com
